Shortlisted for Teach Secondary Awards 2022
Surrey-based student safeguarding company shortlisted for the Health and Wellbeing category of the Teach Secondary Awards 2022
The Teach Secondary Awards is an annual showcase of the best resources secondary schools can use to improve student outcomes, staff development, and whole school practice. The Student Voice has been shortlisted from a large number of entries for the category ‘Health and Wellbeing’, alongside tools and resources from other respected individuals and organisations working within the education and ed-tech sector.
The next stage will see The Student Voice and other shortlisted resources assessed by an expert panel of judges, including representatives from The National Association of School-Based Teacher Trainers (NASBTT), the UK Literacy Association (UKLA), and the Association of Teachers of Mathematics (ATM).

The Student Voice works in partnership with schools, colleges, and academies, enhancing real-time safeguarding provision through the use of technology. The digital tool enables students to highlight concerns in the school and surrounding community so that schools can map out and RAG rate hotspot locations, to monitor issues, measure interventions, and prevent future harm.
“This is a really exciting step for The Student Voice. Our key focus has always been to improve the health and wellbeing of students in schools and colleges in the UK, overcoming barriers to communication using technology. To have our efforts acknowledged in this way is really rewarding and we hope it will increase awareness of new tools and approaches in student safeguarding.”
Stephen Willoughby, Co-Founder of The Student Voice.
Their final verdicts will be unveiled this November, including awards for the overall winner, highly commended, and finalists.
