About this Contextual Safeguarding Webinar
Your webinar hosts will be Jason Tait, Director of Pastoral Care and DSL at a leading all-through and co-educational boarding school in the UK, and Helena Wykes-Dart, a Specialist Adolescent Social Worker and Director of the Adolescent Safeguarding Consultancy Ltd.
Designed for safeguarding professionals, it will introduce and define extra familial harm, contextual safeguarding and outline the importance of pupil voice in empowering students.

About your hosts
About Helena
Helena is a specialist adolescent social worker, with expertise of working to reduce the risk of harm adolescents face outside the home, with an area lead of child exploitation. Alongside this, she is the director of the Adolescent Safeguarding Consultancy Ltd, which is designed to help passionate safeguarding professionals better protect adolescents, through engaging training and consultancy. Her practice focuses on extra-familial harm using child centred, trauma informed practice & contextual safeguarding approaches.
About Jason
Jason is a Director of Pastoral Care and DSL at a leading all-through and co-educational boarding school in the UK. In addition to having specific responsibilities for all aspects of pastoral care and safeguarding across the school, his particular interests and expertise lies in the areas of positive psychology and contextual safeguarding. He is also a co-founder of The Student Voice.
